Dr. Melody Palm holds a master’s degree in counseling and a doctorate in clinical psychology. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and a registered psychological health service provider. She has been an educator for forty years, most recently in a graduate clinical mental health program. She delivers international presentations on subjects including sexual abuse, human trafficking, and gender identity, and has published numerous articles and book chapters. Her trauma-informed, interpersonal process approach incorporates unconditional positive regard and situates each individual within the context of their family system. She was a nominee for the Ozarks Woman of Distinction Community Leadership Award by the Gender Studies Program at Missouri State University.
